Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He has Cornetto connections apparently, according to Joe Duffy.

Apart from my unlikely crush, I do find the chorus to Take me to Church very beautiful.

I laugh at those power chords going into the chorus every time I hear him do this on acoustic. Something you'd play when you're 14 like. Good tune though

Totally unaffected by his fame what a breath of fresh air.

It's a bit weird that two singers who live in Bray came out with songs called 'Take me to Church' around the same time. (Hozier and Sinead O'Connor)

Gavin Henson also recorded a similar song, in collaboration with Des Cahill ;)

By the look of Hozier's father, Tubridy called round to their house at some stage thinking that he was the perpetrator of domestic abuse against his sister..

Good show two weeks in a row.

No chance, amigo. it's the last one until 2015.

But the SNS is on December 27th, which is unusual.

Is there anyone in the Boards Office at this time of a Friday? I think CountyHurler's account has been hacked.

Well, now that you mention it, I did see a poor woman in distress when her car broke down, and I pushed the car off the main street and in to the credit union car park.... :pac:

But then I let the side down, by telling her she should go in and ask them for a loan for a new car... :(

Time to purchase my hoverboard and head to the cinema to watch 'Jaws 19' :pac:

No point in singing "Arise and follow Charlie" to Tubridy.... That boat has sailed... Tubridy already did arise and follow Charlie...

So obvious from the tone of Tubs' voice that he idolises Haughey.

Aidan Gillen always comes off as kind of asshole-ish or sarcastic or something in interviews. I know he's actually a nice guy but just something about how he carries himself and the expression on his face/tone of his voice. Weird really.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

'Charlie' is a poor name for that show. It sounds like a sit-com

'The Dark Prince' or something like that would be a better name, more gravitas.

    Gerry Ryan, for one.

Your man is like a cross between Gerry Ryan and Joe O'Connor - or maybe I drank my wine too quickly
