    We contacted Electric Ireland regarding our bills and the rates and they were supposed to call back but never did. We never received a discount for the direct debit setup. Cheers.

    Hi paddy_grove,

    You would have been put on a callback queue list for the Sales team, so they will call you back - there are just high volumes of incoming calls at the moment; we regret the delay.
    Did you sign up to any price-plan recently? That would be required before a discount is applied for direct debit.

    Sales would have the most information but we may be able to provide you with some details in this department also, if you private message us your name, address in full, telephone number and either your Electric Ireland account number or MPRN.

    To avail of discounts you would need to sign up to a price plan, which would involve agreeing to certain terms and conditions (one of which might be to pay your bills by direct debit). For this reason, setting up a direct debit in and of itself wouldn't necessarily lead to discounts being applied.

    If you send us your details by private message (including your full name, address, contact number and confirmation that you are the account holder) we can arrange for a callback.
