Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    TG4 at 11:45.

An Irish classic, and IMO the film that put Brosnan on the map, so to speak. Everyone I have ever known hasn't ever heard of this theatrical brilliance and I don't know why.

Remington Steele put Brosnan on the map.

It did not, although Brosnan won't recognise Taffin for some reason, he never responds to my tweets.

Nice one, I've never managed to catch it since Adam and Joe took Taffin to a (slightly) bigger audience

Damn Joe Cornish & his Hollywood career, that 6 Music show was pure gold.

It certainly put him on the Bond radar.

What goes on in my house is none of your business.

The second one had me laughing out loud in the office while listening to Adam and Joe.

    Do you watch them often?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Nah, I'm going to Carrickmacross to see a mate I haven't seen in a few years who's home for Christmas. God. Help. Me.

The Taffin re-enactment, 80's desolate Irish town.

Oh yeah, one of the main thugs is Bela from 'Fair City'. Also, a lot of Father Ted actors pop up including 2 out of 3 from the Craggy Island parochial house. It's a classic!

Does Alison Doody get her kit off in this?
    Might be worth a look.

Twink as a hot biker chick. Bela from Fair City as the baddie. A strip club in 80s rural Ireland. MAYBE YOU SHOULDN'T BE LIVING HERE. Taffin has it all!

I'm only watching this because I'm familiar with the locations. That hardware shop is in Greystones, and also appears in the background of the cinema scene in Father Ted.

Did you offer your services for this film, RayM? After your Glenroe exploits this could have been your gateway into the Movies!
