Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Walk in shower drains

Just had plumber put in pipes for toilets and walk in showers. He said he was going to put in the long drains in against the walls and slope floor into them. But instead he has put in drains in center of showers and looks like their circular. Dunno am I happy with them. I'm thinking it'll be worse to tile these as their circular so more cutting involved with tiles and more awkward to create slope from 4corners of shower floor into center than if drain was at end it would just be continuous slope inwards. Any ideas? Not too sure how these are normally done but any images we've seen on net is the long drain type

we had a same issue many years ago with a walk in shower but our drain was in the corner so we had 2 slopes towards the drain, yours would need 4 as the base is sloped with cement and levelling stuff [no idea for a slope lol ] when dry tiles are laid on top, dont know what the fall is towards drain circular with silicone around the cuts of tile.
maybe think of outer edges at walls raised 1 inch as a guide?

see what you mean as your walking on it on bare feet, did you state where and what you wanted? i see he stated long drain so the job is a not described as he promised.
tell him not happy as that was not as promised to be done and you were not made aware of his changes.?
