Acronis Boot USB

I have an Acronis 2014 rescue media boot CD made using the Acronis media builder from within Acronis True Image 214 which I no longer have installed on my system. Can the Boot CD contents be used to make a bootable USB pen drive? or does that have to be created from within their media builder?

The USB pen drive have to be created from within their media builder.

It also may be possible to make a USB bootable and copy the CD contents over. You can also use the "Create a bootable disk using" and choose your CD/DVD drive.
