    Thinking about getting a new G36c and was considering the Umarex/Ares EBB G36c. Anyone have any experiences with them or know any better models?

    The kwa version is a very good option, if you can find a non umerex rebrand version or the TM is also a good choice. Avoid the jg as in recent years they have gone to sh1t.
    Personally I'd skip anything with "blow back" as unless it's a GBBR or a TM recoil model, the blow back is only a gimmick......

    Avoid them like the plague as they use a modified V3 gearbox shell and there is a micro switch used instead of the standard trigger switch contacts
    This micro switch is operated by a sliding type wedge connected to the trigger blade and is of such poor quality that it wears out Big time and this is when your problems start

    Its a pity as the rest of the parts used are above average and the blow back system although driven by the piston is quiet a good system
