Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi I'm looking at buying a new iPhone 6 that someone bought as an upgrade on meteor but didn't use.
I don't know the person so I'm wondering if they decide to stop Paying their bill will the phone get blocked? Or just there SIM card?

Phone is not theirs to sell. You buy it, you just bought a brick

Ok thanks I'll cough up for a sim free one from Apple.

I never realised you didn't actually own your phone until the contract is cleared.

Or buy sim-free from amazon.co.uk, where you are less likely to be ripped off.

You only have bought a brick if they report it stolen or do not pay the bill.

Yes I understand it's not worth the risk is it? God knows what can happen in another persons life. For the sake of an extra €100 I'll but the proper sim free one and be done with it.

    Thanks.

Need it for Crimbo so can't risk it with shipping times!
