Have an APT timer connected for OCH.
It has only one Neutral Wire in (3).
The Clock will not function in any state ON/OFF/Clock, Supposed to work in all Three States.
Is it Possible that We have one Live "in" wire from Mains, one 'Live' "out" wire to Appliance and One Neutral wire to Appliance&Main.

    Would this Be Safe? :-o

The Appliance will work with ON/OFF switch

By the way have already Booked an Electrician, Just would love to know what the hell could be Happening.

The timer needs a neutral to power its motor and indicator light, which it does along with the live in.

So its live in, live out to appliance, and neutral.

The neutral in and out to appliance can go into the single neutral terminal in the timer.
