Even the commentator on NBC (Who also commentates on sky) is saying Chelsea are wrong and to let the referee go at it.
    So that's a no then.

The aid of his team mate? Hazard was rolling on the ground, Terry ran straight to the ref looking for a red. He tried to influence him. If he wanted to let the referee ref it he wouldn't need to run into his face.

So stoke were asking the ref for the time i assume and werent trying make sure the tackle which was wreckless, wasnt a red from the ref?

    I see....

Martin Tyler was saying Chelsea do overstep sometimes. Funny, I always thought he was biased towards Chelsea.

    Now.

And he's the main commentator and they don't usually pass judgement. Just goes to show ya.

    He must be right so.

Although stoke players were on the scene first so im assuming they were the first to influence the ref.

    They always pass judgement

Is this your first match to watch?

Any player worth their salt from any team would be complaining to the ref about that tackle. It was a shocker.

Can't believe Wenger passed on him, when you look at how poor they are. Huge coup for Chelsea. He's been excellent this season

Ya. I suppose he thought he was ok as cesc would have been a number 10 for arsenal. Hes done well for us as hes got matic next to him.

Arsenal dont have that protection to allow cesc influence games.

    Courtois doing well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

No better man than Courtois to deal with Stoke.

He doesnt second guess he makes up his mind and goes. Cech doesnt have the conviction he has.

    Another great catch from Courtois.

At 6'6 he should claim them all day

Fairly comfortable for the most part but we need a second.

Ya. Old cliche but the next goal is huge.

Another Mourinho masterclass, you can tell he's had a bit of extra time to work on this. The defense has been set up well and those early passes down the sides of the Stoke center backs are causing big problems. Costa has run the channels brilliantly. In goal, Courtois has been all-powerful, such command of his box, the Belgian number 1 has been quite magnificent.

Costa is a great outlet to have

Haha hedging my bets early, it's been really well set up, and the front four have been so quick with their movements and interchanges, the passes over the top and down the sides have given Stoke big problems and may have led to an overload and goal had Swarbick not gotten in the way.

These are the matches that make the difference when you want to win the league, Chelsea coping very well

Can see Chelsea conceding.... Stoke can go out and enjoy themselves, Chelsea might be feeling a bit jittery after the Costa miss and city very close now.

Stoke have to push on it might give us space to counter.

If its 1 - 0 going into the last 10mins Drogba will be on to defend set pieces, maybe even before then.

Haven't seen all the games he's played this season but as good a striker as he is, he always seems to be getting into bother with the opposition. Seems to be easy to wind up.

He's easy to wind up but he seems to know where the line is after he's got a yellow. (Chelsea days at least)

Shame there's no Remy, if it stays like this his pace down the sides and 1 vs 1 would have been perfect.

Stoke have had 1 shot on target and it was a deflected effort.

Of course they can get back i to it but they have to improve in the 2nd half. Weve way too much space to take it and turn, our 1 touch play is good, thats to be expected but stoke are standing off. Only bardsley has made a tackle.

    2nd half will be tense.

15 - John Terry has now scored in the Premier League for the 15th successive season. Evergreen.

    Great stat that.
