I didn't know Fulham had a inward transfer embargo, makes more sense now I guess he comes in the summer then

Berahino has something about him, he's a good finisher and apparently he does a lot of extra training on his own just to be better.

However there's no smoke without fire. He has a reputation and you'd have to think he's not a Poch.

But in Pochettino I trust. If Poch wants him then Berahino is fine by me.

In case you missed this one from last night, Alex Pritchard will have a deadline-day medical at West Brom ahead of a proposed loan move, according to Sky sources.

It is understood the Tottenham midfielder was also a target for Burnley, Middlesbrough and Brighton, but Albion expressed an interest and the 22-year-old would prefer to stay in the Premier League.

Hopefully he will get some game time.

I doubt we'll see anyone coming in today.

Yeah there doesn't seem to be anything in the offing. Seems rash that, only days after Vertonghen getting injured, we get rid of Fazio and Veljkovic.

Hopefully we're about to sign Varane from Real or something like that.

I don't think we "got rid" of Veljkovic. He didn't want to sign a new contract and was prepared to run his existing one down (it only had six months left on it). That's what I've read anyway.

As for Fazio then I'd rather we played with 10 men.

Well if we'd given him any gametime, he might've been willing to sign a new contract.

Fair enough. If Toby or Wimmer get injured, I'd prefer Fazio in centre back than to weaken our midfield by moving Dier back.

I think there's a thing there that if they don't sign a contract then they don't get the game time. It's sad as I was hoping for another academy starlet in the lad.

    Poch is soooooooo unlike Harry..

Harry would be banging on about lots of smashing players...

Whereas Poch goes about it silently.

I reckon we'll get Berahino...no way Pritchard went to WBA as a favour...

Maybe even get someone completely off the radar....

    hmmmmmm...

    Embolo.

Yeah Pritchard has to be the sweetener for a Berahino deal. Fingers crossed. I can see the lad being the new Defoe for us.

Not necessarily. The only other clubs looking for Pritchard were Championship clubs. West Brom were the only PL club. We'd obviously want him tested in the PL.

I love to see Embolo or Marsille's striker the Belgium one at the lane.

I think we are done for today but, you never know with us.

He is not a striker. He is an AM unless you play him false 9.

    Any deadwood left?

Nope, just hoping he pulls something out of the bag - its the hope that kills you.

I still think there will be a bit of biz, whether its with Fulham or WBA I don't know. Pritchard loaned to WBA is a bit of a surprise after all the stories about Peace not wanting to have anything to do with Levy!

A total surprise might be good but unlikely!
