    Apparently we have bid for Sissoko. Not sure on him as others have said but Poch seems to demand high work rate from all players so I assume he thinks he can get it from Sissoko. He was great in the Euros.

    Great is an exaggeration.

    I remembered remarking during the Euros Final that Sissoko constantly just ran head down into corners and had zero end product.

    He was athletic, I'll give him that. Though I'd say he had as much talent as Kevin Kilbane.

    I agree.

    The last time I bothered with transfer deadline day was when we were meant to buy Moutinho. I got my hopes up, it never happened, I was gutted. So I decided to never bother with it again.

    The Ireland/Oman match is a good distraction tonight.

    BREAKING NEWS

    Here we go! Everton are in talks with Newcastle to sign Moussa Sissoko, according to Sky sources.

    Newcastle want £30 million for the France midfielder and are willing to accept payment in five installments of £6m.

    Tottenham are also interested but talks have broken down over Newcastle’s valuation of the player.

    All sources are saying we've a deal done on Sissoko and it's also been confirmed by the French manager that he left the French squad and is in London.
