I wouldn't mid getting this one started tonight or tomorrow if IncognitoMan has his write up done. No hassle if he's not ready yet.

Should we clarify if the managers can respond to points made in the match thread?

While I'd like to respond to certain points, I do agree with Slickric who said that it probably is best to avoid the back and forth that could result, and it also gives an advantage to people who are online more. It would also drown out those just posting to give their reasoning.

I'm happy to be limited to the opening post to state my case, but it would have to be the same for everybody.

It should be the one post IMO.

I mean, I'd like to respond to certain things too, but it just turns into a long argument, and it really doesn't need to be a big deal.

I'm happy to just leave it, and we can rant about it all afterwards in this thread!

Tbh, in all the other drafts I've done (think this is the 4th) there was never a rule about countering points and they worked just fine, nobody ever complained. It can add to the quality of the draft as long as the arguments don't get too drawn out over semantics. That didn't happen very often though.

I don't really mind either way tbh.

One blind post where you don't know the exact team might be limiting it a bit, you can't really comment on how you'd win if you don't know exactly who you're up against.

You should be allowed comment on the opponents team once you see how they line up. If people are ok with it then countering points should be allowable to a certain extent but if it descends into arguments and bickering then it should be considered unsportsmanlike conduct. Same should be said for canvassing on thread. Shouldn't be any need for any sanctions though.

If the on thread votes are level, it should be decided by who won the poll. If that's level, the next on thread vote should decide it imo.

Would it be possible for someone to take over his team, and do a write up themselves?

If so i'd be willing to do this, unless there there is someone who has already asked?

Still waiting on one of ASOT or Pudsy33 to send an 11 into SkylineHead, once one does that game goes ahead with the same condition as the Redzerdrog Rushden game where Redzerdrog may get a walkover.

IMO, I think if Skyline doesn't want it then let soberpaddy have it, better to have a matchup than a walkover.
