Eircom WiFi & iPad

    The Mammy got an iPad recently. Can't connect to the eircom wifi at home. Wifi connects to the laptop ok.

    Any suggestions?

    Have you entered the Wifi WPA Key correctly on the iPad ?

    On the underside of the modem there should be a sticker with 2 passwords, one is a Wifi WPA or WPA2 ket and the other is the password to access the modems configuration page. Both are case sensitive and need to be entered exactly as seen, the WPA one is what you need to connect your iPad.

    Use this guide to connect iPad to your Wifi system.

    If they have a very old eircom modem(router/gateway) then it may not be compatible by default, iOS doesnt always get on with WEP.
