    Evening all,

Have this heater fitted in the main bathroom:

Problem with it is that it only runs for a few minutes and then shuts down which is not enough to warm the room when taking a shower.
I dont expect it to heat the room on its own as we have central heating but still cannot understand why it only runs for a short time before shutting down.

Does anyone know if this is normal or is there a setting internal to it that can be modified or is the heater simply faulty???

    Thanks.....

There is a switch internally that can be selected for less heat and it should stay running. Its probably at the high setting

It could also be a build up of dust preventing sufficient airflow through the heater causing it to over heat and trip out.

You could disconnect the power. Remove the cover and give it a give cleaning with a brush such as a paint brush and a Hoover.
