Cycling sites for sportives and races

Hi all bit new to this but I took up some training a few months ago on the bike(80-100k etc) was just wondering what are the best sites to look up sportives and races that are coming up in 2015, as I wish to take it to the next level and test myself , I know about cycling Ireland site but details seem to be poor on it when…

Obviously Facebook as well, a lot of clubs will like each others events, especially if they are in the same locality.

One thing to bear in mind is that for the price of a couple of sportives, you could get a CI license and join a club, and have a group ride every week.

and ride sportives too.

Thanks guys for all the info, your right to carawaystick was also thinking about joining a club to, I live in the cabra arena and was thinking about giving the blanch wheelies a go in the new year

Great idea. I rolled down to the Wheelies in Jan 2012 and haven't looked back since. We have a few that come from Cabra direction.
