Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I like this Ashley Young fellow, he can defend and attack.

How is this still 0-0... Great effort by young. Spurs keeper MOM

    Spurs are shocking.

Its great to have see Young turn things around. He looks like a real threat and its like a new signing for us.

Lloris better not be having one of those Friedel days against United

    Lloris and spurs.

    I just don't get it.

A warm mug of tea for all.

Best half I've seen from United in a long time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,196 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

Falcao looks knackered can see him off for Wilson around 65 minute if not earlier.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,812 ✭✭✭thelad95

Lloris has been magnificent. It could easily have been 3 or 4.

How was Phil Jones' goal offside?

Disappointing not to be going in with a lead. Falcao looking very clumsy, should have at least 1.
Good performance overall, hope there's no regretting those chances.

McNair gonna give me the grey hair.

If Valencia could attack like Young this would be a bloodbath.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Baffling how United aren't winning this!!

Should be a few goals up, best away performance in ages

Yeah, the 5th or 6th cross to Fazio's head was really threatening

If Di Maria was playing that role United would have 2 or 3 goals. Young's crossing is woeful as usual.

Dunno how we arent in front. Really good half from us there apart from Falcao whose been pretty awful and way off the pace. Be nice to have a midfielder to bring on and stick Rooney up top

Entertaining first half. Utd should be well in front and might rue all those misses yet.

If United keep playing as well I can see 2 or 3 in the second half. That said in the Villa match they stopped playing 15 mins into second half

Very pleasing performance so far but we have to be putting these chances away.

So this is what I has felt like to play against United over the last month. Just need to get one for the floodgates to open.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Man Utd playing well if judged by a certain standard, Spurs look tentative in possession, too willing to go from back to front when Kane is outnumbered 3 to 1. Serious lack of composed possession and control in the game.

Dare I say it, United are looking comfortable and fluid, looking like the team is gelling. Need to push on in the second half and take their chances.

Unbelievable how we are not winning this ... even if we end up loosing this our improvement even still with our injuries is pretty epic.

He tried to take the piss, should have swung a leg or threw his head at it. Unbelievable first touch, reminds me a lot of Bergkamp, only better.

Raf on for Valencia could make a good difference. Someone capable of finding a player with a cross would be welcome if this wide play is persisted with.

    Good news I think

I was going to say it in the first half and they showed Raf warming up, I can't take credit for this one :p

Good change from LVG. Hopefully Raf gets a few runs down the right.

    Oh my god

We have to break through soon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,902 ✭✭✭MagicIRL

I'll take the 1-0 here just get the ball in the net!

  • Lovely from Mata...very concerned about all the missed chances

Rvp needs to put them away

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Finally Young gets caught for a foul throw. It's been going on way too long.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Put the ball in the net ffs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,860 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

So unbelievably wasteful in front of goal we should be 3 up and out of sight at this point. If we don't get all 3 points from this we have only ourselves to blame.

In the words of Tom Hanks....

    WILSON !!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

Evans and Jones look so nervous in possession, so jittery.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,380 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Shaw on for McNair and go 4 at the back please.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Not finding any space in this second half unfortunetly.
Just not getting into positions in the final third of the field

  • Spurs tackling dirty all day

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,026 ✭✭✭duffman13

Good game but looks like some tired legs out there now. At least we Michael Owen for entertainment

Utd are just pumping long balls towards to Spurs box, why such a change of tactic?
