Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fazio looks like a quality player, wouldn't mind him in the United team

Really frustrating considering the chances we had. **** sake.

Keep dropping points against poor teams.

And this ref has been utterly dire...

    2 points dropped :(

    Scrap the cap!

Utd had enough chances to win this game easily.

Poor finishing cost them which is weird as they have 3 of the finest cfs in the league.

Utd will feel like its points dropped IMO.

    Lloris was immense

Disappointing result. Have to take your chances at the end of the day and we had plenty in the first half.
Game should have been over at half time but Spurs played much better in the second half.

that second half was awful from united, any bit of pace injected into the game and the team cant string 2 passes together.

    Another ****ty away result

Was like playing Stoke in that second half, all United did was foul. Don't know how we didn't win. 2 points dropped for sure.

Ref was poor, and there was a definite penalty for Spurs, but i'm still happy enough with the result considering how dominant Utd were in the 1st half. We could have knicked it towards the end, but i'll take that.

Ffs young. That was just shocking

He works a yard of space, gets the ball onto his good foot and refuses to cross it. Instead he cuts back onto his weaker foot, which allows Spurs to double up on him, runs down a blind ally and puts a horrendous ball in.

    Terrible player.

Very disappointing result, that's 4 silly points dropped this month.

Them 4 points dropped now pretty much rule us out of the title race.

Great in what way? He got the most touches of any United forward player and probably 7 or 8 missed crosses and one shot that may have been a cross on target. He was dirt as usual.

Young has been enjoying his best spell since signing for the club. So much so that Spurs double teamed him in the first half yet he was still one of our most productive players.

I'm sure you're frustrated with that poor cross in stoppage time, but that's no excuse to talk shíte.

For a home team with aspirations of a top four finish you were pretty rubbish.

Don't know how Spurs didn't have a man sent off as well in the first half. Moss had a brutal game today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,796 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

People like to direct their ire at Young because it's easy. The fingers should be pointed at RVP, Falcao and Mata who all missed sitters.

It's not shíte, it's exactly what he's been like since day 1 at the club. Can get on the ball and fashion a bit of space but when it comes to producing something it's hit and hope and horrible crosses.

Mata not getting on the ball more in the 2nd half is what cost the team their momentum. Every chance in the first half pretty much came from him.

I thought Spurs were much worse on the fouls front. Broke up every bit of play before it could start and went down like they were shot when a United player got close. I was actually really surprised by Spurs. Expected them to try to play football at home but they seemed happy enough to contain, break up play and lump the ball towards Kane. Very cynical from a normally decent footballing team and manager.

All that being said, our attackers should hang their heads in shame. So many chances but couldn't finish their dinner. They were obviously tired towards the end after 2 games in 2 days as injuries meant we had **** all replacements in midfield and attack, but we need to be finishing those chances.

Hmm I seem to remember Young planting the ball on Rooneys head with a great cross in the first half.

Maybe doesn't suit the narrative though.
