Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks,
I'm thinking of building a new workbench for my garage and I'll probably build one using a set of online plans. I do a good bit of bike work so I'd like to add some bike specific features. I'll add a bench vice and a clamp like the ones on workstands.
Has anyone built one themselves and could you recommend a good set of plans.
    Thanks!

As above you can buy work stands in Lidl/aldi for around €30 they'll be out again come March or so.

Otherwise you can buy a wall mounted stand and knock up a bench yourself.

I have a pulley attached to a joist in my garage.. It's also articulated so it can spin around 360 aswell.
I use a roofrack strap through the pulley and hoist my bike to the desired height to work on.
Works great and can spin the bike around simply.
It takes up no space and is occasionally handy for other jobs.
    I've a nice bench too :).
    Marty.
