Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Firebird 50/82

    Hi all,

Have a Firebird Super Q 50/82 boiler. I was trying to twist the temperature knob up to max when instead of resisting turning the knob kept turning (did a full 360 and kept going). It has subsequently fell off and I can no longer hear the rumbling of the boiler to tell me the heating is on, despite the "mains" light being on. I tried putting the knob back on and twisting each way but to no avail.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Thermostat is 65 to 85 degrees only.
    It should still work.
    With or without plastic knob.
If metal shaft turns 360 then the thermostat is goosed.
It should normaly only turn from 12 o clock to 4 o clock position.
