Advice on purchasing A Printer ? Thanks

Hi im looking for a good printer that is reliable ink cheap , i mainly use the black ink the ocassional colour , but im not printing photos

I use to have a deskejet 815 c but the colour gave up still prints out black, then i got another hp biggest heap of Rubbish has a mind of its own

was thinking of Cartridge world not sure if anyone has experince with that company

any advice or help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Inkjet or laser? Generally, laser work out cheaper in the long run, even going with the official toners.

Wow im a bit confused now , Duplex i understand that now no i wouldnt want a duplex

Networked ? not sure what it is

i really only use it to type the odd letter print airline tickets

I would suggest getting a laser printer. Something like the below.

It will last a long time as the toner cartridge is not like the ink cartridge, it will not dry out if left for longish periods without printing. You will get alot of pages printed with a laser printer before you have to replace the cartridge, yes the toner cartridge can be a little expensive but think of how much you spend on ink anyway and then it dry's out and needs to be replaced again.
