UK Only shipping, any ideas?

Looking to buy boots from ZALANDO, but they only seem to ship yo UK .. any ideas how I can get them to Ireland?

Contacted ZALANDO , got this response ...


They say the credit card must be registered with UK bank, IP address in UK Domain my computer sends order from etc ....

Any ideas?

If they are that stupid don't waste you money supporting them. We are part of the EU which is to allow the free movement of goods and people. Company's like ZALANDO don't deserve to be supported by Irish people!!

I'd suspect the bit about the IP is completely made up; but the need for the billing address to match delivery is common enough.

If it is the only source of the item you want*, you can register a PostFX Sterling card from An Post with a billing address of Parcel Motel and try that. If they're just cheaper than someone else, give up.


*that alone makes me suspicious in most cases though!

The bit about paypal being linked to UK bank account sounds suspect, too. The whole point of paypal is that nobody knows your actual payment details.

I tried to sign up to the free trial with Hulu when I was in NYC recently, couldn't complete as my PayPal account wasn't USA registered. Had used a NYC private address.
