Best excuse ever, "my feet were numb with the cold so I couldn't tell the difference between the ground and Aaron Rodgers".

Here's a little statistic for you.
Number of games missed by the players that were due to been "injured" by Suh =0.

That's like saying someone who tried to kill someone hasn't committed a crime or doesn't deserve ill will in their direction.

Wouldn't wish an injury on any player but its hard to say that about a player who themselves wants to injure another guy to put them out of the game.

That's a pretty disgraceful comment right there.

Apart from the Deitirch-Smith incident, I wouldn't think he went out of his way to injure any player. He was just trying to help his team score or tackle a player but did it illegally and got penalised, like what happens in every single game in the NFL.
Now with the Rodgers case, its hard to know if its intentional. Some believe it is, some like myself are not so sure, but I will say it was definitely clumsy & reckless to not know where you're putting your feet & ultimately deserved to be fined.

Suh regularly plays to injure opposing players, nothing wrong with fans wishing the same on him, live by the sword die by the sword, a lot of lads on here are very precious about what is at times a very dirty game

32 consecutive games without being fined, really doesn't fit your theme of "regularly going out to injure opposing players"

So what are people's projections for the 4 games this weekend?

I'm going with the Cardinals, Colts, Steelers and Cowboys

Panthers, Ravens, Colts and Cowboys (though I would probably prefer the Lions, if Stafford keeps it together I like how they match up vs Seattle better than the Cardinals/Panthers).

The home teams except for the Ravens.

I think I can punt better than the Arizona punter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,718 ✭✭✭polaris68

Two 3 and outs already for the Cardinals followed by two crap punts.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,395 ✭✭✭✭mikemac1

20yds and 29yds for the punter

I mean how hard can it be?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,029 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Never knew the Cards punter was so bad.

Mike Tirico really wants to hold Gruden's hand. Or else enjoys the feel of his jacket.

The Cards D hasn't arrived yet, their punter wouldn't kick snow off a rope!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 33 Gile

Things are easy to Carolina. Only if the Cards D' appears on the game they will be able to do something.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,718 ✭✭✭polaris68

Great footwork by Michael Floyd for Arizona's 1st down.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,413 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Another crap punt. He gets lucky this time though.:D

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,630 ✭✭✭me89

Wow what a break for Arizona.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,162 ✭✭✭letowski

Arizona need to take this opportunity now.

There's no way for Bruce Arians on this game. He's such a great coach, but with no quarterback, no run game and an useless punter, the only way for Carolina lose this game is if they stop playing.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,403 ✭✭✭spiritcrusher

For such a tough looking guy, Hochuli really wants the players to play like pansies. He is surely softest touch for an offense. Anyway, I won't complain too much there as I'd like this game to remain tight for as long as possible.

He has done so well to keep this Cardinals team rolling throughout all the injuries they've had but eventually, no matter how good you are, you run out of steam.

What a catch by Fitzgerald though!

Fitzgerald is a monster. Thought he was going to push the defense until the end zone just like TE's.

Yeah can't see them winning based on the first quarter. Got a huge break with the muffed punt.

Hard to see past the 4 home teams.

Got to feel sorry for Arizona, last year they had 10 wins and missed out, this year they are in but missed out on home field and are down to playing 3rd string QB picked up from another teams practice squad.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,718 ✭✭✭polaris68

    Arizona hanging around.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭Tristram

Cards not doing anything but right in this.

The Panther's actually trying to make things interesting...

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,403 ✭✭✭spiritcrusher

Awful, awful 3 and out there. They really could've done with at least a FG there after the Carolina miss.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

The Cardinals offense is actually painful to watch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,029 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Thing is that despite all the bad play on Cards offense they are still only three points down. Panthers have to make them pay because even poor teams will score points and if you end up behind it all changes.

Better punt than the last one.

Bowles' blitz-heavy defense is a good matchup against Cam Newton on the passing downs, hasn't always been the best decision-maker.

In fairness 3rd string QB and missing their only good running back. Would be a struggle for most teams.

Arizona punter has a noodle leg.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Cam is a pretty good tackler!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,162 ✭✭✭letowski

Intercept! Cam Newton playing really poor.

    This game is already mental.
