    Hey,

am looking to do four nights in the centre of Paris in early July. Kids are young but great walkers so would appreciate somewhere within walking distance of the popular attractions. Most hotels dont have a room big enough for us all and we dont want two rooms. Any suggestions?

We will also be doing 4 or 5 nights in Disney Paris but this is easier to sort!

    Thanks,

    Branners

An apartment is much better with kids than a hotel. We've got 4 kids ourselves so we know the challenges involved in booking holidays.

Try somewhere like www.homeaway.co.uk for suitable accommodation.

The last time we were in Paris we stayed in Passy. It's a more residential village right next to Trocadero and less than five minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower. Normally we would stay around St Germaine du Pres or the Marais district, but I was sick and tired paying through the teeth for a room you couldn't swing a cat in.

It was great. Restaurants were cheaper, and the room - while the same price as the better known areas - was much much bigger. Yet, we were really close to the Eiffel Tower, which literally towered over us when we came out in the morning. And the metro station at Trocadero takes you directly to Euro Disny.
