Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Knee-length trench coat/overcoat

    Hello,

I've scoured M&S, Debenhams, Arnotts, Brown Thomas, ebay, gumtree, and lots of other places and I'm really drawing a blank here.

I'm looking to get my hands on a knee-length trench coat or an overcoat. Colour is not important, but either black or navy would be preferred, but again not essential. If anyone here has ever watched The X-Files, similar to the ones Deep Throat or Mulder wore during the first season is kind of what I'm after.

Any of the sites or shops I've been in, the coats cut off around mid-thigh/above the knee. I want one that goes a bit longer, to below the knee.

Many thanks if anyone knows of either a website or a bricks and mortar store (preferably in and around Dublin) where I could find one.

    Thanks in advance. :)

I got a black knee length trench coat in stridavarius in Jervis shopping centre at the weekend, I searched everywhere for a reasonable affordable one! Try miss selfridges they had a good range of trench coats. There's a great vintage store in temple bar just across from the American sweet shop, I can't think of the name!

Try the Harlequin on Castle Market Street; I saw a Burberry one in there for about 80 quid.

    Second hand.

Still that price is no where near what real Burberry trench is going for second hand. Most ones in okish condition are going for about 150+ from what I can see so in my opinion its either not genuine or else isn't in good condition.

Maybe I was wrong about it being 80. Anyway I was in that shop yesterday and it was gone.
