I continue to post here because I've been here longer than most and will be here after many have closed their accounts / been banned / stomped off in a huff. If I didn't have a thick skin at this stage I'd never acquire one.

Lovern last season played far better than Toure has this year. If the manager decides to give him a run i'd understand and if he doesn't i'd also see that side of the coin. But to just dismiss it as an option is folly imo.

Mignolet might have no competition but he had none when he was dropped either. And i don't think anyone can argue that it seems to have done him some good.

I've no doubt you will be around for a long time and you should be. You're an active poster. Just because people disagree with you doesn't mean you shouldn't post. But for me the two sides are as guilty of personal attacks on the poster as each other. Both sides replying with "lollingtonesque" posts regularly.

With Sanchez and Ramsey injured it could happen.

It's tough to see us pole vaulting so many teams, but doable. Southampton win is 100% essential, as I can't see us getting anything vs city...so even a win against Southampton is likely to still see us 8(!) adrift of united (maybe 6, could see a draw away at Swansea tbf), and 6 behind arsenal after next two rounds of games. You can see how quickly any hope fades at that point.

As I was saying on here from the 10 game mark, left ourselves a serious mountain to climb and had Rodgers switched it up sooner we'd have avoided some very strange draws and losses. But here we are, climbing the mountain....last 8 games have been great, no better time to face into this run, so here's hoping for the improbable !!

Arah I'd just prefer if Leiva wasn't injured tbh, it's sickening how regular an occurrence it is. I read earlier that of his 190 appearances for Liverpool, he's come off injured 821 times, crazy!

I hope Allen or whoever else does the job for him

Pjanic would some signing but I'd say we would be looking at north of £30m.

Earning that kind of money can leave a player with little else to strive for, in terms of earnings. Not all footballers have their heads turned by money, and some 21 yos are more mature than seasoned pros.. but generally speaking if you make a young man very wealthy before he has earned it you better have deep pockets and a forgiving attitude.

- Liverpool have been consistently decent for a period of 12 games while admittedly playing some lowly positioned teams, some of the teams above us seem more fragile and more likely to hit a bad run, I have no doubt Liverpool will drop points but I don't think we'll have a bad run.
