Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thought ojo might get a look in but i guess not. Bit strange having 2 left backs on the bench.

2 left full's on the bench and a right sided winger as left wing back.... again

Home draws vs Stoke, Fulham, west ham, and hull is where we lost it had we set out on the front foot and played with less fear against weaker teams we would have the title. That team was full of class I'm not sure more money would have made much difference.

That wasn't throwing it away at all , you have a few games where you can't buy a win for love nor money .
Rafa and BRs teams had one thing in common during the run in they gave it their all and then some.

    Rodgers taking no chances.

He doesnt want to get sacked.

The goalkeeper back 3 with Henderson and Lucas should be the same for every game that they are fit for between now and the end of the season.

Kind of see Enrique being able to fill in for Sakho in this system (not really a normal left or centre back in this role).

Moreno could come in for Markovic in the wide left position.

Would prefer to see Moreno on the pitch to Markvoic tbh

I thought that it's pretty much nailed on that his next club will be PSG?

I imagine that's pretty likely alright but if we have the option and money, he's only behind Courtois and De Gea in the league as far as I'm concerned.

Mignolet should be sold as soon as possible. Such a poor poor goalkeeper.

  • Registered Users Posts: 354 ✭✭MojoRisinnnn

Mignolet receives a rather handsome salary every single week in exchange for his services as a footballer. Let that sink in when we're all going to work tomorrow when it's still dark out and sleep deprived

Turned us down as he's comfortable where he is, reported as saying he's enjoying the foundations being laid there....

I have no confidence in Mignolet at this stage.

It's it cement to be, it'll be.

Ok, I think that's them all!

The manager needs to show he has some sort of different tactics when the sh1t hits the fan.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,395 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

Was typical Mignolet. Made a great instinctive save 5 minutes earlier and then seemed to be in fear for his life when he came for the corner when he should be knocking people out of the way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,068 ✭✭✭Tipsy McSwagger

Mignolet and Rodgers will hopefully be gone by the time the summer transfer window opens.

No concrete offer made yet, but the Liverpool hierarchy say it's pretty much set in stone.

TBF he was Fouled, wasn't given though. But that was probably due to Mig's Reputation of being a Weak Flapper of Crosses.

But in that Situation where the Box is a Clusterfvck of Bodies, Mignolet has to know that he has to Punch it.

Instead, he tried to Catch it, and they Scored as a Consequence.

I rate BR highly but the way he has us set up defensively is absolutely disgraceful.

You will win absolutely nothing with a poor defensive approach. Shameful.

Better concentration at that than when it comes to a cross coming in

Would feel better about Stevie leaving if someone else started scoring some goals.

  • Registered Users Posts: 526 ✭✭✭ManOnFire

When was last time we didnt have a decent free kick taker? Suarez was class, Alonso could hit them, Fowler Murphy and Gary Mac going back further. Cant see who'll score a few next season

I've been Gerrard's Biggest Critic here, but this Game reminds me of how much I'll miss him when he goes.

I don't think we'll ever have a Player again, that can Pull us Out of the Fire, as many times as he has done in his Career.

It's Sad that our Manager doesn't have the Balls to Manage him properly. Otherwise, we could have Hold onto him till he Retires.

BR should have realized sooner, that Gerrard needs to Play further up the Field.

Important win. Stevie shows yet again how important he is to us especially when he plays further up the pitch.
Henderson really stepping up yet again with another business like performance - he has some engine on him!
