Kerry airport out of hours

Does anyone here know if kerry airport closes up shop late at night? (I always assumed it did) If so, why would there be a Garda presence there at 1am on a Sunday? I've seen the paddy wagon parked up in its usual spot, but it seems odd that they'd be at the airport when there are no scheduled flights :confused:

Probably parked there as a mid point between Tralee and Killarney and can respond to either Town if required.
