Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi chaps,

I'm in Arizona for 2-3 months and need a bike to ride as mine never made the plane back in Dublin. I'm looking for something below $500 to cycle on a daily basis here and hopefully to bring back to Ireland to use or sell on. I've found a few bikes which fit the bill but can't decide if one is clearly better than another. Here are the choices:

I'm leaning towards the Fuji, but is it worth $150 more than the Cannondale?

I think I'd have a harder time selling the Cannondale on in Ireland with that paint job though.

What do you reckon? Which would you suggest?

Out of that pick, I'd jump on the Fuji!

Cool. The Fuji seemed like the obvious choice but I don't know anything about pre-2010 components and frames, nor do I know anything about Fujis.

Is $400 a fair, good, or great price in your opinion? I think I saw Roubaix Pros on Adverts for €400-500, so with transit cost, I'd probably break even. Should be easy enough to sell on, no?

    Thanks for the post!

    Fuji it is.

Then off to South Mountain with you. Where in Phoenix are you staying?

    Scottsdale.

Just pulled the trigger and will have it Wednesday. So Thursday morning I'll cycle down to Camelback Mountain, do a climb, and then tear up the streets. smile.png

    Endlessly cycling on the horizon!

Thanks for the advice gents. Look out for this bike back in Dublin in March.
