volunteering in limerick

hello, im unemployed and hoping to start a course soon but seeing as i fail every interview i attend, I thought i would like to volunteer. I live close to the regional hospital and Can travel by bus range to other places as i dont drive. im good with kids and Can also do face painting and balloon animals if that helps.

so if any body know of any places needing volunteers thanks

What are in interested in sports, animal welfare etc
How much time do you have to give? every day, week or just from time to time
Contact a charity directly. Limerick animal welfare are always looking for volunteers.

Btw, if you do want to work with people, Garda vetting will probably be required and this can take weeks-months.
