    Aw that's a pity. It would be nice to have gone out with a bang. Ending the year's festivities on the 27th rather than the 31st seems a small bit of a cop out.

    They probably couldn't afford the fireworks after spending all the allocated money on crap events (bar one or two things). Hipster culture was all that was represented in 2014.
