Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

United could have had a peno. And Hitting the post is missing the target fyi

If Stoke win they will have truly deserved it. RVP, nowhere to be seen only when he gets the ball in midfield and gives it to the wing back.

Crouch has dominated the CBs all day.

    Late winner for United?

    Shaw is an awful footballer
First time ive seen Utd in a long time

You can't pass judgement on players if you don't watch their team regularly

    Scrap the cap!

You missed his take down and quick snap shot that went wide so, during stokes domination of united.

There's no real urgency here to win the game since the changes.

I suppose that's the difference between us now and City & Chelsea.

It's a pity but it's still better since last year. Was City the last game we lost?

First time ive seen Utd in a long time, they are shocking, no pace, far too many touches, no incisive play, sideways and backwards to clumsy defenders who fong it forward.

You're extraolating your expert opinion from a match played in an open stadium on a very windy day.

I can't believe there were people out there that thought United would launch a title challenge...

Anyone that was unfortunate enough to be subjected to that performance today could be under no illusions. That squad needs a LOT of work..

If turgid, ponderous stuff is your bag then yes its better.

Our final ball has been terrible. We don't deserve 3 points out of this's. Nowhere near worked their goalkeeper enough.

Januzaj can't even pass the ball

This is what happens when you don't have enough players for proper squad rotation.

Wind doesnt cause a lack of creativity, ideas, pace or incisive play.

An awfully boring game of football.

You bemoaned the lack of passing ability etc. I explained. Still not getting it? No problem

This is almost as bad as anything under Moyes. Struggling against Stoke. Hoof ball to nowhere, crosses hitting defenders, Awful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

    **** game. **** result

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 687 ✭✭✭Dayum

No sense of urgency from Utd.

Passing the ball around in the last ten seconds like the game has just began...

    Late winner for United?

Don't think so, they've been playing like a wet sock all game.

Taking off Falcao worst substitution of the season

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,928 ✭✭✭dubmick

Three points out of three away games.

Wind doesnt cause a lack of creativity, ideas, pace or incisive play.

No tiredness and good defending\organisation stops that

Terrible performance and the changes LVG made were mindboggling.

Brutal conditions. The unbeaten run goes on. I know a few clubs that would happily swap right now ;)

Pathetic. That second half was the worst display of passing I've ever seen.

    2 mins injury time ?

3 united subs, 1 stoke sub, plus Young needed some time to be helped from the pitch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

Terrible performance draw was a fair result no team played well or threatened much

Cue LVG talking about fixture congestion when it's the same for every team and most teams don't have the resources of Utd.

Evans was poor, so was RVP.
Young did nothing from an attacking point of view

    Janujaz needs games
    Evans was poor

Stoke deserved more, 2-1 to them was a fair score

    Take the draw and regroup.

Probably the correct result. Taking off Falcao was a weird one, even he looked surprised

So fixture congestion doesnt exist then? Is that what you're saying?

    The school holidays continue.

Southampton and arsenal could be within one point of third after these games. Time to start winning games or we could find ourselves outside of the top four again very quickly.

    Glazers Out!

Thought Stoke deserved the win myself. They at least tried anyway.

    Disgusting really.

With the resources Utd have they should be salivating at the prospect of having an advantage over the minnows...

Half the players should go back to the academy and learn the basics of football hard to believe how bad that was to watch

    Not sure about that.
Stoke had a clear penalty not given , also Diouf had a 1-on-1 with the keeper called back wrongly for an offside

    Also they hit the post

Think Stoke will feel aggrieved to not get the win
