Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    sapodillas

    durians!!!!!!!

    green thai coconuts!!!!

    Any on your list?

    My fav fruits of all:

    CHERRIES!!

    Blue berries

    Strawberries

    Papaya

    Watermelon

    KIWIS!!! :P

One generation ago , none of those would have been available in Ireland.
IMO we need to take more advantage of local in season produce and stop relying on shipping in so much.

There's definitely enough variety of fruits which grow in Ireland.

One generation ago? I've never heard of the first list of fruits the poster had put up!:pac: :o The second one yeah, but the first one, never!:p
Yeah, I always thought that sticking to eating what is naturally in season and from your own country is surely better overall for the environment and of course for local industry? :)

I go to Lidl twice a week to stock up on raspberries and blueberries. Every other supermarket is either too expensive or else don't regularly stock them!

Persimmons would be my favourite. Can't go wrong at 3 for €1.50 in tesco.
