One game above SS for ten and one game 3 above SS for an ESR and the magic figure of 9.

I am playing Strandhill tomorrow evening and a comp at Rosses point on Saturday so hopefully a good score in either.

Does any one know if I can declare the non comp game tomorrow as a suplimentry score or is that only at your home club ?

If you are rushing to get to 9 - I wouldn't go down the supplementary route in Strandhill or Rosses - but a man of your skill - perhaps work away.

He was hoping to come back with 2 western point 1's

J, almost certain you need to beat css by a minimum of 4 each time to trigger Esr.

LoL you can't beat the false sense of ability after a few good rounds.

For ESR it is the average of the two rounds. My Wednesday score was 5 better than CSS, so I would only need to beat CSS by 3 in any qualifying comp to trigger an ESR for one full shot or if it is bigger than a four week gap for .5

If it was in a suplimentry round then it would be 3 better than the SSS.

No harm in having a target though !!!

Going back a few years but I don't think it has changed since. Space has attached the workings on it here:

Nd needs to be -4 or better and then the average kicks in in relation to the size of the cut.
Two factors at play, the amount of rounds between ESR triggers and then the average of those rounds.

2 silly 0.1's and one round in buffer so far for me in last 2 weeks, was heading for cuts in 2 of the 3 rounds only to throw it away

Finally a positive update after a pretty terrible start to the year with 7 x 0.1 leaving me dangerously on the cusp of drifting back to 8. Had a good score in the storm on Sat and since the CSS was exceptionally high I got a full 5 x 0.2 cut to bring me to 6.2 and my lowest to date. Still playing rubbish golf however and really struggling with the irons hitting no more than 6 GIR in the past number of rounds with a few shanks thrown in also. Had a lesson this evening to sort some of the problems so hopefully once engrained golf will be easier.

Couple of really good rounds (40 pts last month and 41 pts at the weekend) has seen two cuts and an ESR Over half way to goal already. Have had a few lessons and on the last one I was told to leave the driver at home for a while and use 3w off the tee which I can at least hit reasonably straight. This made a huge difference!
Starting to dream of single figures.
