HKC Lan card and App info

    Hi,

    Near finished a 1070 self install and was wondering about the hkc app, and have a few questions. Lan card would suit me as the panel is beside the router.

    I see from a different thread it has to be installed by a reg installer.
    What is the approx cost of that install - the lan card, install and hook-up.

    I understand there is a fee for the comms service - costs on that ?
    Is it a contract of just a yearly fee ?
    Post install - I still have full Eng access to my panel ?

    Any other info would be great.

    You really should have done more research here if you ask me.
    This is the only system charging per app & an annual subscription charge.
    The apps are €7.99 each and the subscription is €60 per annum.
    Siemens SPC , Risco & GSD do all the above for free. If you take the life of your alarm may well be 15 years + it would be cheaper in the long run to invest in a different panel.

    But had all but sensors in over last 2-3years after an extension built.
    Only getting around to finishing now !!!

    So, had no real insight into the app from hkc at that time.
    May go with just gsm, and have seen threads on that.

    But if I do want to get the app and yearly sub, whats the initial install cost.
    Got a price of approx euro85 for the lan card from wesco on sat.
