Think it'd be a good laugh if people could see it for what it is and not take it too seriously.

Well it would be intended to be pretty light hearted and avoid at all costs the usual sh*te.

I've no drawn up any lists for awards but going on past awards, I'd pick some categories, e.g.

Best poster
Most Biased Poster
Most likely to be banned in 2015
Best Newcomer
Poster Who Always Defends The Indefensible
Thread of the Year
Rant of the Year

thats just a few ideas from previous awards and all would be decided by vote of course

I'd also throw in worse prediction of the year which could cover the season 2013/14 if needs be.

Again, its all for a bit of a laugh more than anything and not intended to be a drama llama thread.

When this was done a number of years ago, this forum had a genuine community feel. Vibrant OT thread. There was organised beers. Genuine friendships made etc.

Now the place is largely a cesspool and rather unpleasant corner of the Internet.

As such, any awards won't work imo.

Off topic, but it seems to me that a couple of them close accounts before they get banned fully then come back again several months later to start the whole thing again.
