Light (0.5kg) Olympic Weights

Hey Guys and Gals

Does anyone know of any good Irish / UK suppliers of light weights ( 0.25,0.5,0.75) for microloading ?

I just can't seem to find any reasonably priced weights for such small weights

I got a pair of 0.5kg plates at Strength Shop. Change from €20.

They have 0.25kg plates as well.

if that's too pricey you can use magnets and bits of steel, if you want to go ghetto, you can fill some water bottles to the required weight and tie them around the bar end.

Seen a pair of 500g wrist/ankle weights that i was going to buy for this purpose.

Just use the standard one inch hole plates and a cable tie . Theres tons of them on adverts.ie for half nothing.

You can get strong magnets cheap enough to hold them on too.

maybe no need for one that strong, but you can see how small it is, though it shoudl be strong enough to take any bumping.

if only getting 2 of them dx would be cheaper as they have free/inclusive delivery.

If you get one I would advise wrapping it in black electrical tape, otherwise it will chip as stuff literally jumps onto it.
