Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Leaving fas course

    Hi I am short term unemployed this winter as work is seasonal and has been a few years.

    I volunteered for a fas/solas course to pass a bit of time but I've given it a try and it doesn't suit me and don't think it will lead to work. I think my time is better spent getting my cv out now so I can pick up work as soon as the season starts again.

    If leave the course will I be stopped JSA? I did go on the course voluntarily and not forced through activation. Will I just tell the tutor it doesn't suit me? He is the most miserable person I ever met . . .
