It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

15/15, definitely a couple of tricky ones in it though, like the capital city in Australia, Brazil, Belgium and Switzerland.

(I did get the capital city of Ireland though, kinda helped :D)

I got 15 but I had to guess four of them. Just got lucky, my geography is terrible.

I'd be very surprised if anyone got 12 or less on that.

15/15 ! All those years of playing board games paid off :p

Estonia was a tricky one I thought.

15, thought I was very clever when I did it through facebook, then I seen the results of some ex school mates and realised that everyone seems to get 15 :)

Unless you are American. If you score more than 4 and American. You are practically a genius.

I got 13/15 and it doesn't say which ones I got wrong, only I didn't get any wrong.

    Australia - Canberra
    Canada - Ottawa
    Switzerland - Bern
    Brazil - Brasilia
    Turkey - Ankara

I'm guessing the quiz is badly made and it has 2 of the above wrong. The others I got were:

    Norway - Oslo
    Spain - Madrid
    Greece - Athens
    Belgium - Brussels
    Japan - Tokyo
    Egypt - Cairo
    India - New Delhi
    Finland - Helsinki
    Estonia - Tallinn
    Ireland - Dublin

None of those answer are wrong.

Just did it a couple of more times to see and it has the capitols of Brazil and Canada as Rio and Toronto but those are wrong.

This quiz is much better. You have 12 minutes to name as many capitals as you can out of 196. I got 94.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,792 ✭✭✭✭Charlie19

    15/15

    I wasn't 100% about Canada.

    Vienna
    Rio
    Istanbul

Is what I answered differently to irishc.

Same answers as yourself and got 13. Puzzled which ones were wrong.

Yeah, chose those second time round and got 15. I'm confused.

I have no idea then, I went through it about 3 times just to make sure but it kept giving me 13/15. Changed Brazil and Canada and got 15/15.

Other quiz is much better anyway got 116, think I could have gotten around 10 more with more time. Oceania is deadly, only got New Zealand and Australia there.

    15/15.

You'd want to be seriously thick to get less than 12. As for Americans, they wouldnt even know have those countries existed as they havent bombed them recently.

Are you running Noscript? I got them all right and it said 13. allowed all scripts and it changed to 15

That's a fun quiz. I got 195/196. I knew Mauritius' capital started with Port but couldn't recall the second word. And I got 15/15 on the OP's quiz - that one was painfully easy.

That's impressive. Even if I knew them all I wouldn't have been able to type them that fast. As it was there were a few I knew but just couldn't get the spelling right.

That original test was ridiculous. I got them all right but only got 14/15. I blame the website or my computer, if the problem is related to the thing The Backwards Man mentioned.

One of the selections for India was Bombay, which had its name changed to Mumbai 19 years ago.

There is something definitely wrong with the test.
I got 15 correct earlier.... Then started again and asked the wife to do it... I was sniggering as she answered at least 6 wrong .... Result 15/15
Might be that I never restarted properly but I cant see that being the case.

IN fairness, neither did the quiz. It's Bern, but you need to answer Zurich to get 15 out of 15

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I got 15 but I'm pretty sure I got them all right [EDIT - just checked, actually a couple were wrong but the right answers weren't there], though there were a couple of tricky ones in there. But I don't trust the website, I did a few other tests and they were all completely wrong... such as...

I'm going to get married at my current age apparently, which scares the shit out of me considering I'm currently happily single...unless Scarlet Johansson or Mila Kunis propose to me in the next 10 months. Which, let's face it, is quite likely to happen. Isn't it?
