Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    3-5-2 even suits yeovil...

Some sound from the crowd, not much from Falcao yet.

It is bizarrely difficult to see the ball.

At the moment on Fox I'm just watching players chase an invisible object.

Is it this bad on TV?

This is gash so far. I just hope Yeovil tire and we can push on. Gateshead and Tranmere started like this as well but were eventually murdered.

Nasty clash of heads and the ref just looks on

Referee letting the game go until the ball had been cleared? Even though there were 2 men down in the box with a clear head injury

I'm watching a BT stream on the TV, albeit a very high quality one but it is difficult to follow the dark coloured football.

The ref took his time stopping play there for a bad clash of heads.

Head clashes are the worst, hate the way they just crumple when they fall

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,019 ✭✭✭✭adox

    Ref ****ed up there.

Utd are rather poor going forward, first ball is straight to the wings.

    Ouch. Looked very harsh.

Crikey, that's a sore one for McNair and the other lad. :(

My hatred for Owen as a commentator knows no bounds

    He's voice goes through me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,372 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Owen talking about them going up for another whack shows the ignorant attitude to concussions definitely still exists.

The **** is with all the hoofing of balls out of play....

The cynicism of Tyler is slightly worse, the other guy with Owen is very boring too.:p

The passing is horrific from united

  • Posts: 0 Raul Big Map

    No possesion in midfield....yet again
All this formation does is allow the opposition to press high
****ing passing it left and right is wrecking my head

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,852 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

I really hate BT commentators and pundits it's like a human muppet show.

Depressing play from United so far, no real pace or drive apart from Rafael and the passing of the usual standard of late. On the plus side I like the way Falcao goes about his business, he has actually been one of our best defenders in the last couple of games.

    Rooney not doing great....

A little bit complacent from Utd so far?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,017 ✭✭✭TheMilkyPirate

United need to wake up here before they concede a stupid goal.

That's because Yeovil are pressing like Barcelona did under Guardiola - with players chasing after people like a herd of sheep. It's the worst kind of football on the eye to see. But they'll tire themselves out, should get more chances in the last 20 or so minutes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,948 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

That's much better direct play. Pity Wilson didn't get more behind that shot

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,139 ✭✭✭westernfrenzy

Yeovil have nothing to lose from this match. I can see why they're going all out.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 19,889 ✭✭✭✭The Moldy Gowl

Utd are being far too complacent with their passing, too many fancy little training ground passing moves not coming off.

Good chance for Wilson, poor finish. Fletcher needs to pass forward more

United are channelling the performance against MK Dons.

Seems like LVGs philosophy is to hold the ball so the opposition don't score and then hope one of the big players produces a bit of quality.

Think that's utds game plan. Leave them tire themselves out.

What??? Yes, keep the ball, score goals.

Kinda helps if you want to score goals and win games, you need the ball

This isn't a training session lads, play the ball or lose.

Dreadful. In the middle of the park there.

The best teams dominate posession and do something with it, Utd look like they are hoping for a touch of brilliance from a player or slice of luck, not wearing down the opposition and creating numerous chances and knowing that one will go in eventually.

Yeovil keeper hasn't made a save yet.
