    VLC was just released for Windows Phone, you should give it a try as a) it's free and b) it will play many video formats

    Couldn't find VLC on the Windows Store but WindowsCentral posted a link to it. Be warned though, you can get it at the link but it is apparently not the final version so most likely a late beta with issues.

    Still, i'm a fan of VLC anyway so I'm taking it for a spin expecting it to be far from perfect.

    Thinking about doing something with my Rpi as a DLNA server so might give the one above a shot too at some stage. Might be fun.

    No network support in VLC yet which is what i need. Smart player does that for me.
