So what would consider a half decent wage in Toronto ? How much an hour would u want to at least get by? What does cost of living be.. like apartment rent, food, train tickets and so on.
I see plenty of jobs in labour being advertised for about 11 dollars an hour, some trade jobs at over 30 an hour.
also what do tradesmen like bricklayers and stonemasons do over the Winter months when the temperature drops?

A half decent wage depends on what your circumstances are and how much money you need to support the lifestyle of you and your family. 11 dollars an hour is roughly the minimum wage, so nobody's going to be living the high life on that. You can't lay bricks outdoor during the winter months - Mortar doesn't set very well when it's about minus 40 degrees.
