How long does Student Account last?

    Hello,

    I have heard that a student account with BOI lasts for 2 years after graduating - is this true? If not, will BOI contact me by letter to tell me that my account is changing from a Student Account into a Regular one? Can I see this change on my e-statements?

    Hi Curlyhatescurls,

    Thank you for contacting us on Boards. 

    Your 3rd Level Student Account will automatically update to a Graduate account on the year that you graduate from college. A Graduate account will last for two years after this. You will also receive a letter to inform you of this update to a Graduate account. The most up to date statement will indeed show at the top what type of account you currently have.
