Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

And Rodgers STILL doesn't think Liverpool need a defensive coach.

He is a man who just 6 months ago came closer than any Liverpool manager in the PL era to winning the league

    Maybe that's why

There is no fight in these players, pulling out of nearly every challenge.

Ah now, that's a petty comment.

Admitedly I havent seen the goal but sounds like Mignolet balked at Beast coming at him from a cross tbf I think most posting here if they had Akinfenwa coming at them they'd be rather reluctant to confront him.

Meh - this was a club that started with nothing a very short time ago. They're a credit to themselves really.

Wimbledon really busting a gut to be first to every ball

We've got to stop blocking our own shots

Its funny Liverpool cant defend in their own box but can defend in Mk Dons box lol

It's like one of those games you see on A Sunday the pitch is so bad.

It's a stupid comment. What does the poster expect? It's a League 2 ground.

Come the end of the season he may be the man who has brought us closer to relegation than any other in the PL era.

Mignolet killing his own player to get balls.

I assume you are too young to remember pre premier league pitches? This would be the best ground in the country in this condition 25 years ago.

Yeah I have no real problem with Mignolet for the goal. Only thing I'll say is that it was a battle he was never winning.

why arent our defenders blocking people from getting a jump to the ball in the box like other teams ??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

    Greedy from Coutinho

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

We need someone in this team to step up and take the game by the scruff of the neck look Gerrard of old or Suarez, we don't seem to have that ability any more.

Don't be silly, that would constitute 'defending' which is strictly verboten.

Tipping a shot that's straight at you over the bar is hardly a world class save

it was when de Gea did it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Goal aside, Gerrard has been poor.

Wimbledon fans chanting "You're not wanted anymore!" at Stevie G.

The ball travelled 30 yards. How is it not a penalty.

I'd say you were itching to get that one out. Its basically commonly accepted de Gea is great at his shot stopping and his positioning, the latter trait is one of many things mingolet is poor at. His shot stopping isn't necessarily something to write home about either brah

It looked like he was trying to slap Gerrard with one arm but hit the ball with the other arm instead. Bizarre.

Lambert is a Voronin/Pouslen level signing

Liverpool need to keep possession and then Wimbledon should tire and Liverpool's superior fitness should tell in last 15 minutes. Not sure that will happen though..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,105 ✭✭✭mada999

players are too static.. when someone has the ball in mid or in defense.. there's no-one moving towards the ball, they all just stand there... and it's not just in this game... been happening all season...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,648 ✭✭✭mav79

60 minutes of rubbish football and still no changes from the manager

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,502 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Scissor action on that tackle, should've been red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

We'll be doing well to see this out without an injury.
