Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a good feeling we'll be getting our hands on a trophy this season. Gerrard must believe it, would be the perfect ending to his Liverpool career.

Does no one get that Gerrard wants to leave?

I still think it was more of a case that he wasn't offered a proper contract.

Said himself he wasn't happy being told he wouldn't get as much game time as he has been getting, should be expected

Listening to the post match interview, has BR ever acknowledged that we are sh*t at the back? He would want to get his sh*t together soon, or goodbye job!

The reality is that he will never acknowledge it, will never sort the problem out, and will most likely remain manager for years to come.

Gerrard is a much more complete player than Beckham ever was. Gerrard could do a lot more than take good free-kicks and deliver accurate crosses.
Very good player, but Gerrard in his prime was much more effective, IMO.

Not with that defence he wont.

Beckham has proved it on every stage

I agree, this isn't some club from god knows where run by a local. It's a massive company run by successful American businessmen, who will have anybody out without a second thought that has a negative effect on their bottom line (aka if they fail to qualify for the Champions League), no matter who they are. Welcome to Premier League football in 2015.

Anybody that thinks that sentimentality has a place in modern football is naive, at best.

I just loved that game. Trying to keep a straight face before anyone noticed you had the flag, asking the other lads if they had it and you knowing full well where it is just to bide yourself a bit more time :pac:
Proper multiplayer, not spread across the continents.

Fondly remember the reaction Bond had when shot, like someone had just thrown a bucket of freezing water over him.
