Registering business name

    Hi I've just setup a painting and decorating business on the btwea.
    I'm confused as to whether or not I have to register the name with cro. I'm using my first name and surname but I was told because I have Painting and decorating after my surname that it has to be registered.
    Chris Perkins Painting and decorating. Is this correct.
    Very confused with all this.:confused:

    Thank you I did it the other day but was just making sure as I was given the wrong information by someone that should of known.
