I did it about 6 years ago and got a beautiful bike which was subsequently stolen about 2 months later :( Anyway I'd like to do it again (with a better lock this time) - but I want to get two bikes - one for me and other for the gf. I know in the rules it says you can only do it…

This has just opened up again in my work. I did it about 6 years ago and got a beautiful bike which was subsequently stolen about 2 months later

Anyway I'd like to do it again (with a better lock this time) - but I want to get two bikes - one for me and other for the gf. I know in the rules it says you can only do it for new bikes - but the bike I got last time was 2nd hand - the guy just wrote the receipt as XYZ bike - €1000. But I'm wondering has anyone else done this? What bike shops have a decent selection of used bikes in Dublin.
