iphone 6 camera rattle

Just got my iphone 6 today and noticed when I tap the back of the phone near the top left where the camera is there is a rattle. I think it could be normal after reading below. Just want to be sure it's not faulty. Anyone ?

"The focusing mechanism in the iPhone camera uses a voice coil mechanism. This is basically a coil suspended in a magnetic field. You put varying electricity through the coil to move the lens to a specific position.

When the camera is unpowered, the lens is free to move in its path, as the coil isn't energized, holding it in place. This causes the rattle. It's perfectly okay, and isn't getting damaged as the lens is simply moving along the path it's designed to move in."

Also, I didn't charge it when I got it. Updated iOS. And noticed the back got very very hot. Is this normal ?

Still in plastic. Just waiting on zagg glass shield (I know it doesn't go edge to edge). Still trying to decide on case. Not sure if I want to keep the profile and go with something like an apple official leather or silicone case or go heavy duty drop protection and go for uag, otterbox or tech21. Any recommendations ?

The back gets hot when you're using it heavily or updating iOS. It'll be cooler for normal usage.

Thanks. Yes, it's cooled down now. And glad to know this rattle thing is just the autofocus mechanism as I have a talent for getting lemons be it pc's, cars or phones

So trying to decide on case and have narrowed it down to three.

One thing I will say, at least going by iphone 5s and my experience with the note 4, that there are some cases out there which can actually scratch the chamfered edges of your phone when taking case off and people don't consider this. For this reason alone I am considering the apple leather case as an option.

Have the tech 21 for my 5s and will be picking up another tech21 case when I get my 6+ in the next few weeks. Not to bulky. Of a case whilst still giving good protection.

Cool. Has the tech21 case caused any pitmarks on the chamfered edges of your 5s (need to hold it up to a light) ? People have complained that the molding marks on the d30 over time caused some damage. And on the snap case, instant scratch.

just checked no marks have the one that was linked in the Mac rumors bar it's clear.
