Onion crop

Has anyone found that their onions have not stored well this year? Alot of mine have varying degrees of rot, some entirely soft etc. etc. This is the first year that this has happened and I have heard that it is a common occurence with last year's crop. Anyone else here in the same boat?

Yeah, lost a lot. I put it down to the warm most weather all through oct/nov
