Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    BUMP!!
Who is going? It would be silly to miss it. Them there will be nothing left and you will regret not having raced it.

Probably the B, it does depend on how much sand is your bag though.

B usually, depends how confident you are; my husband started out in the As and doesn't do any other bike racing. Depending on numbers, there might only be enough for 1 race.

I found the course tougher than the nationals, although that could've been down to my fittness. Just found very little recovery time on the lap. Great event and facilities, proper toilets, bike wash and some lovely food and coffee put on afterwards. Oh and plenty of mud!!

Apologies for the mud on the lens, was too tired to wipe it.

    Very flat compared to Swords.

Lost of muddy wet grass? My favourite terrain. NOT.

No mental climbs but plenty of leg sapping drags.

I think you did well enough in the b race alright
    ;-)

Really enjoyed the course. I think the photos don't do justice to the elevation difference across the site and all the little obstacles and mud patches etc that were dotted around the lap. That sharp step down from the upper field into the lower field scared the crap out of me the first few laps! I had visions of being thrown straight over the handlebars. :P

Yes, great race, I'll be back next year. Food, showers, bike wash, scenic location, all really made it worth the trip. I'd encourage more people to travel next time, it's only 1.5 hrs from Dublin.

I thought the course was interesting and well thought out - of course it was easier and flatter than Swords, all races are! The pictures don't show the hill or the headwind too.
