07-01-2015 6:15pm#1DJ Sotofett, from the enigmatic Sex Tags Mania label, lands in Galway for his Irish debut on January 31st.
It was something we used to do when we were a fledgling night, but it's something we are going to go back to for this gig and that is to host a pre-party in the Bierhaus.
This time however it will be DJ Sotofett taking over the reigns all night, beginning in the Bierhaus from 8pm and onto Factory from around 11.30pm where he will be seeing out the night.
He is a man famed for his 5/ 6 hour+ DJ sets so this is a great opportunity to see him file through his expansive and multi-faceted record collection.
Sticking with the talk of records and more so DJ Sotofett's record label, Sex Tags Mania, which he co-runs with his brother DJ Fett Burger. The label which was founded in 2004 has become one of the most unconventional sounding house and techno imprints (to label it loosely) in recent times. With it's friends and family orientated output it has become known for dance music with obvious drawn sources from reggae, jungle, psych rock, afrobeat, disco and lo-fi electronic music.
Pre-party in the Bierhaus will be FREE with entry to Factory being the usual €5 before 12 and €8 from that point on.
